Sara Pappalardo is a nutritionist from Italy, with a passion for traditional and healthy cuisine. Currently she divides her time between Rome, where she conducts quality and hygiene inspections in school canteens, and Berlin, where she teaches classes of cooking and healthy nutrition. Sara enjoys writing, her articles on food and nutrition are regularly published in dietary columns of online magazines. Having worked as a nutritionist in a medical practice in earlier years, she confirms that a healthy diet can be very tasty indeed. She is currently collecting healthy recipes for a book on the topic "Lose pounds with a tasty diet". Her favourite dishes are "Gnocchi alla Romana" and "Saltimbocca". Occasionally she will treat herself to a slice of cheesecake or Sachertorte, however adding that the merits of these desserts are not necessarily nutritional!
